Senior Finance Assistant
– Documenting processes under review and identify potential efficiency improvement
– Carry out research to maintain current relevant tax laws and accounting reporting frame work
– I ensure that the firm’s professional standards are complied with in planning, control and review
– Briefing each audit team and supervise and review their work whilst at the client and to de-brief them at the end of the assignment
– Preparing requests of information for the HMRC
– Preparing staff reports and contribute to practical training and professional development
– Organising stocktake attendance, visits for debtors confirmation work, etc as necessarys
– Editing to letters and submitting them to clients through the director/partner having discussed the matter first with the client, if appropriate
– Keeping director/partner informed of the position of the audit and at the end
– Liaising with partner in connection with monitoring of the management of my portfolio to include:-
– Provide technical guidance to staff and resolve technical queries when instructed by clients.
– Control work in progress and raise fee notes as early as possible during assignments
– Forming an audit opinion subject to partner review and amendments of clients information as requested
